Our Products
In Muskellet we have developed tools for effective management of hypertension, that includes accurate cuff-based measurement of blood pressure and better personalization of hypertension management.

We have also developed a novel pulse oximeter for more accurate measurement of arterial oxygen saturation.

Our techniques are based on two simple electro-optic sensors (photoplethysmographic – PPG sensors) on fingers in the two hands.

Clinical Studies
The personalized hypertension management includes measurement of physiological features of the patient, that are related to hypertension.

The physiological features are:

-
Arterial stiffness
-
Autonomic nervous system activity
-
Tissue blood flow
-
Oxygen saturation

All feature are measured by our PPG sensors
The projects of cuff-based measurement of blood pressure and better personalization of hypertension management for adults, and more accurate pulse oximeter for adults and newborns, demand long-time clinical studies and will be performed with governmental funds.

The required time for neonatal clinical studies on cuff-based measurement of blood pressure and better personalization of hypotension management in neonates is relatively short.

More PPG-based projects, which need clinical studies with relatively short time, are planned:
-
Detection of neonatal congenital heart diseases by PPG

-
Measurements of orthostatic hypotension by continuous PPG assessment of blood pressure

-
Assessment of ankle blood pressure and blood perfusion in foot in peripheral arterial disease.
